Section One - Delight

1. The World is sweet.
The sky in it has its own sweetness.
The wind is sweet too.
The fire is sweet.
The water is sweet.
The earth is sweet.
The sun is good.
The moon is good.
All the flames of the firmament are sweet.
The rains are sweet.
The lightning is sweet.
The thunder is sweet.
The sea is sweet.
The river is sweet.
The metal, the tree, the herb, the creeper,
The flower, the fruits raw and ripe are sweet.
The birds are sweet; the reptiles are good.
All the animals are sweet.
The aquatic are good.
Men are the most sweet.
Man is good and woman is delicious.
The child is a delight.
Youth is sweet.
Old age is good.
Life is good.
Death is sweet.

2. The body is good.
The senses are sweet.
Life is tasteful.
Mind is honey.
Knowledge is honey.
Passion is the nectar.
Passion alone is the nectar.
Passion is the deity.

3. The mind is the deity.
Volition is the deity.
Life is the deity.
The sea, the earth, the water, the wind,
The fire, the sky,
The sun, the moon, the flames in the firmament –
All are deities.
The metals, the trees, the shrubs,
The animals, the birds,
Those that creep and those that swim,
And the human – these are the nectar.

4. The world is one.
Men, women, the human, the celestial,
The snake, the bird, the wind, the sea,
Life, death – all these are one.
The sun, the wall in the house, the bee, the mountain, the cataract,
The flute, the sardonyx – all these are one.
Pleasure, pain, song,
The washerman, the robin,
The lightning, the cotton,
All these are one.
The foolish, the learned,
The ferrous, the locust –
These are of one thing.
The scripture, the sea fish, the tempest, the jasmine –
These are various forms of the one.
That which is, is one – the one.
The name of the one is the self.
The self is the deity.
The self is the nectar, the eternal.

5. May all the living derive delight!
May all the embodied be free of disease!
Know that all passions become one!
Hail self!
Let the nectar be forever delightful!We hail the deities.

6. Let the deities become delightful.
Hail to them!
Hey deities!
Manifest forever! Derive delight forever!
Live forever! Shower grace forever!
Protect all!
We greet thee!
Deities!
Dine on us. Become our dish.
Dine on the world. Become the dish unto the world.
We greet you,
Deities!
To protect is sweet. To be protected is sweet too.
To destroy is good. To be destroyed is also good.
To eat is good. To be eaten is good too.
Taste is good. Life is good, good, good indeed!

7. Long live passion!
You are one. You are the light.
You are one. You are many.
You are friendly. You are hostile.
That which is and that which is not are you.
That which is known and that which is not known are you.
You are the good and the evil.
You are the nectar and you are the taste.
You are good. You are delight.

முதற்கிளை : இன்பம்

இவ்வுலகம் இனியது, இதிலுள்ள வான் இனிமை
யுடைத்தது;
காற்றும் இனிது,
தீ இனிது, நீர் இனிது, நிலம் இனிது,
ஞாயிறு நன்று; திங்களும் நன்று,
வானத்துச் சுடர்களெல்லாம் மிக இனியன,
மழை இனிது, மின்னல் இனிது, இடி இனிது,
கடல் இனிது. மலை இனிது. காடு இனிது.
ஆறுகள் இனியன.
உலோனமும், மரமும், செடியும், கொடியும்,
மலரும், காயும், கனியும் இனியன. பறவைகள்
இனிய.
ஊர்வனவும் நல்லன.
விலங்குகளெல்லாம் இனியவை.
நீர்வாழ்வனவும் நல்லன.
மனிதர் மிகவும் இனியர்.
ஆண் நன்று. பெண் இனிது.
குழந்தை இன்பம்.
இளமை இனிது. முதுமை நன்று.
உயிர் நன்று. சாதல் இனிது.

2.உடல் நன்று. புலன்கள் மிகவும் இனியன.
உயிர் சுவையுடையது.
மனம் தேன். அறிவு தேன். உணர்வு அமுதம்.
உணர்வே அமுதம்.
உணர்வு தெய்வம்.

3.மனம் தெய்வம், சித்தம் தெய்வம், உயிர் தெய்வம்,
காடு, மலை, அருவி, ஆறு,
கடல், நிலம், நீர், காற்று,
தீ, வான.,
ஞாயிறு, திங்கள், வானத்துச் சுடர்கள் - எல்லாம்
தெய்வங்கள்
உலோகங்கள், மரங்கள், செடிகள்,
விலங்குகள், பறவைகள், ஊர்வன, நீந்துவன,
மனிதர்-இவை அமுதங்கள்.

4.இவ்வுலகம் ஒன்று.
ஆண், பெண், மனிதர், தேவர்.
பாம்பு, பறவை, காற்று, கடல்,
உயிர், இறப்பு-இவை யனைத்தும் ஒன்றே.
ஞாயிறு, வீட்டுச் சுவர், ஈ, மலை, யருவி,
குழல், கோமேதகம் - இவ் வனைத்தும் ஒன்றே.
இன்பம், துன்பம், பாட்டு,
வண்ணான், குருவி,
மின்னல், பருத்தி,
இஃதெல்லாம் ஒன்று.
மூடன், புலவன்,
இரும்பு, வெட்டுக்கிளி-
இவை ஒருபொருள்.
வேதம், கடல்மீன், புயற்காற்று, மல்லிகை மலர்-
இவை ஒருபொருளின் பலதோற்றம்.
உள்ள தெல்லாம் ஒரேபொருள், ஒன்று.
இந்த ஒன்றின் பெயர் தான்
தானே தெய்வம்.
தான் அமுதம். இறவாதது.

5.எல்லா உயிரும் இன்பமெய்துக.
எல்லா உடலும் நோய்தீர்க.
எல்லா உணர்வும் ஒன்றாதலுணர்க.
தான் வாழ்க.
அமுதம் எப்போதும் இன்பமாகுக

6. தெய்வங்களை வாழ்த்துகின்றோம்.
தெய்வங்கள் இன்பமெய்துக.
அவை வாழ்க.
அவை வெல்க.
தெய்வங்களே!
என்றும் விளங்குவீர், என்றும் இன்பமெய்துவீர்.
என்றும் வாழ்வீர், என்றும் அருள்புரிவீர்.
எவற்றையும் காப்பீர்.
உமக்கு நன்று.
தெய்வங்களே!
எம்மை உண்பீர், எனக்கு உணவாவீர்.
உலகத்தை உண்பீர், உலகத்துக்கு உணவாவீர்.
உமக்கு நன்று
தெய்வங்களே!
காத்தல் இனிது, காக்கப்படுதலும் இனிது.
அழித்தல் நன்று, அழிக்கப்படுதலும் நன்று.
உண்பது நன்று, உண்ணப்படுதலும் நன்று.
சுவை நன்று, உயிர் நன்று. நன்று, நன்று

7. உணர்வே நீ வாழ்க.
நீ ஒன்று. நீ ஒளி.
நீ ஒன்று. நீ பல.
நீ நட்பு. நீ பகை.
உள்ளதும், இல்லாததும் நீ.
அறிவதும், அறியாததும் நீ.
நன்றும், தீதும் நீ.
நீ அமுதம், நீ சுவை.
நீ நன்று, நீ இன்பம்
