Will such a life be amidst us?
This is a nation that bestows in abundance
Fruits, roots, grains,
Countless in all, this nation
Gives them incalculable day in and day out. – Hail!

We will make a law heretofore.
We will abide by it for ever.
If ever an individual has to go without food,
We will destroy the whole world. – Hail!

Kanna the Lord declared
That it is He who is in all the lives.
India will bestow on the world
A state wherein all achieve the status of the divine.
