VICTORY OVER THE SELF

Won’t the arms pick up,
That which the eye could see?
Lo!
The sky seen on earth,
Won’t it be amenable then?
Having striven day in and day out,
Are we to become wearied at the end?
Parasakthi permeates
The sky, the earth, the seen and the thought.

Whatever the boon or distinction or success,
Whatever the greatness,
Possible do they become
When you win over the Self.
Having understood the wisdom
In the words of the masters of the lore,
Will we ever remain ignoble
Without the might to master the Self?

தன்னைவென் றாளும் திறமை பெறாதிங்குத் தாழ்வுற்று நிற்போமோ?
