Rise up armed at the Deluge,
For the heads of devils to break to pieces,

Worship do I Kanna, the Primordial Lord!

உருவாய் அறிவில் ஒளிர்வாய் கண்ணா
உயிரின் முதாய்ப் பொழிவாய் கண்ணா
கருவாய் எனக்குள் வளர்வாய் கண்ணா
கமலத் திருவோ டிணைவாய் கண்ணா

இணைவாய் எனதா வியிலே கண்ணா
இதயத் தினிலே யமர்வாய் கண்ணா
கணைவா யசுரர் தலைகள் சிதறக்
கடையூழியிலே படையோ டெழுவாய்

எழுவாய் கடல்மீ தினிலே கண்ணா
இரவிக் கிணையா உளமீ தினிலே
தொழுவேன் சிவனாம் நினையே கண்ணா
துணையே அமரர் தொழும் வானவனே.
